Bixby is a smart language assistant developed by Samsung that performs similar functions as Amazon Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant .
The Samsung Assistant
Samsung has developed the smart voice assistant "Bixby" to replace the "S Voice" service on Samsung smartphones and to close the gap with competing products such as Siri and Alexa. At present, Bixby can only be used in full on the latest Samsung S and Note series smartphones. These include the Samsung

Plus ) or newer. Older devices have the ability to download individual functions from the
Samsung Appstore . In German, the assistant is now also available. If you do not have the German language selection, you should update Bixby.
The Bixby button
With the Galaxy S8 (Plus), Samsung has introduced a new hardware button for the Galaxy S series. This is located just below the volume button and starts the Smart Assistant Bixby. Also with the Galaxy S9 and S10 Samsung continues to rely on the Bixby button.
