How to set up the Android Device Manager on your smartphone:


  1. Installs the app.
  2. Opens the Smarphone settings.
  3. Opens the menu item Security .

If you want to find your smartphone, go like this:




  1. Open the  Android Device Manager website and log in with your Google Account, which you also use on your Android device.
  2. Even in the mobile app on the smartphone, you can locate all the smartphones that have the Android Device Manager installed and linked to their own Google account.
  3. Your device will then be displayed in the box in the upper left corner. If you have several registered devices, you can select the smartphone to be located.
  4. At the top left you will see, when your smartphone was last online, if it is currently online and if the location access is deactivated.
  5. You have the following options:
    • Ringing : Your cellphone rings at the loudest level.
    • Lock: Your old lock screen will be replaced with a password lock that you can choose.
    • Delete: All data on your smartphone will be deleted.

Note: Even if location access is disabled and airplane mode is turned on, you can still ring, lock, or delete your smartphone. It only has to be connected to the internet via WLAN.
